On the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People, November 29th1– we call for European mobilisation to demand the full end of Israel`s genocide in Gaza, the end of occupation, colonisation and apartheid in Palestine, and full accountability for the crimes that have been, and are still committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.
We support the demonstrations organised in many European countries and cities on November 29th. We demand full respect of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, a real, full and lasting ceasefire in Gaza, the withdrawal of Israel occupation forces from Gaza and West Bank, the end of occupation, colonisation and apartheid. We call for a military embargo on Israel, suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement and to hold Israel accountable for its crimes.
Since the “ceasefire”, at least 239 Palestinians have been killed by Israel and 500 wounded as attacks and aid restrictions continue. The promise of humanitarian aid is largely unmet (a daily average of 145 trucks while 600 are needed), the international NGOs and UN agencies are limited in their possibilities of providing aid, the entry of international journalists is still being banned by Israel.
In the West Bank, October 2025 recorded the highest monthly number of Israeli settler attacks since 2006 with about 150 attacks documented so far, resulting in the injury of more than 140 Palestinians. One in every five Palestinians killed by Israel in 2025 across the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, was a child.
In addition, Israel is escalating repression including torture, medical neglect and other forms of serious abuse, against Palestinian political prisoners and refugee camps in Palestine.
The Israeli “Knesset’s Security Committee” voted to further advance a bill that would allow the execution of Palestinian political prisoners.
The Trump plan tries to impose a blatant colonial project, and isolates Gaza from the rest of the Occupied Palestinian Territory. We demand the right of the Palestinian people for self-determination to be respected: the Palestinians must decide onr their own future.
Israel would not have been able to carry out its crimes, without the inaction of the European Union and the backing and complicity of Western powers, including most European countries.
Without accountability and justice, there can be no lasting peace.

- In 1977, the UN General Assembly called for the annual observance of 29 November as the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People (resolution 32/40 B). On that day in 1947, the Assembly adopted the resolution on the partition plan of Palestine (resolution 181 (II)) against the will of the Palestinian people, which has been shortly followed by the beginning of the Nakba. ↩︎
