The Don’t Buy Into Occupation (DBIO) coalition, a joint initiative of 25 Palestinian, regional and European organisations (including ECCP) has published its first research report into the financial relationships between companies involved in illegal Israeli settlements and European Financial Institutions.
To launch the report, the DBIO coalition had the pleasure of featuring Maha Abdallah, International Advocacy Officer, Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies; Omar Shakir, Israel-Palestine director at Human Rights Watch; Michael S. Lynk, UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian Territory occupied since 1967; Naim Abed Muhammad Shouqair, former mayor of Al-Zawiya town, Palestine; and Kiran Aziz, Senior Analyst Responsible Investments, Kommunal Landspensjonskasse (KLP).
