Following South Africa’s application to the ICJ against Israel for violating the Convention on the Prevention and Punishement of the Crime of Genocide in Gaza, the ECCP calls on all States parties to the Genocide convention to urgently and fully support the proceeding and in particular, the request by South Africa for provisional measures.
The ICJ announced it will hold a public hearing on the request for the indication of provisional measures submitted by South Africa in the case South Africa versus Israel on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 January 2024.
