A delegation of the Russell Tribunal on Palestine, including its general coordinator, Pierre Galand, was received at the European Parliament on Wednesday 20th of March to present the findings of the closing session of the RToP.
Chaired by the Delegation for Palestinian Legislative Council chairwoman Emer Costello, the meeting was well attended and included speeches by Palestinian ambassador to the EU Leila Shahid, Christian Berger, director for North Africa, Arabic Peninsula, Iran and Iraq in the European External Action Service (EEAS) as well as Members of European parliament Veronique de Keyser and Nicole Kiil Nielsen.
The Delegation for Palestinian Legislative Council reiterated its support for such an initiative and thanked the RToP delegation for its valuable time.
