This year marks 100 years since the « Balfour Declaration» of 1917, through which the British government unilaterally promised the establishment of a Jewish national home in Palestine. This centenary reminds us of the responsibility of the colonial powers in creating the disastrous situation which continues until today, in violation of the rights of the Palestinian people, international law and UN resolutions.
In February this year more then 250 European organisations, faith groups, political parties and trade unions issued a statement demanding justice and accountability from the EU and European states
